 LOS ANGELES CONFERENCE BRINGS TOGETHER WORLD LEADERS IN AESTHETIC SURGERY

Aesthetic industry leaders Kian Karimi, MD of Rejuva Medical and Angela O’Mara and Giles Raine of TPI Media Group, Inc., knocked it out of the park with the LA-MCA conference that attracted over 400 attendees and 40+ medical device companies who gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel for the most innovative and inspiring event.

Joining up with Hollywood, a special Keynote Speech was delivered by entertainment industry veteran and icon Ted Gagliano, President of Post-Feature Production at Twentieth Century Fox, whose “Medicine and Movies! The Magic of Technology” presentation received a standing ovation as it covered decades of movie making magic, as well as the newest frontier in medicine – 3D imaging – showcasing revolutionary technology and 3D goggles developed my Magic Leap with the future enablement of brain mapping and other medical breakthroughs.

Among the exciting and ground breaking techniques and technologies showcased at LA-MCA 2019, Ellevate™, a new procedure developed for lower face, jawline and neck rejuvenation was presented by Beverly Hills, CA plastic surgeon Gregory Mueller, MD. Dr. Mueller, whose lifelong work has gone into the refinement of the Ellevate™ technique which uses patented ICLED® light guidance, continued with a workshop and live training at his Beverly Hills practice. Steven F. Weiner, MD, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL presented his own unique combined approach to jawline enhancement using Fillers and RadioFrequency in what he calls his “Rejawvenation” technique and Shino Bay Aguilera, DO presented new uses for Sculptra that took the group by surprise.

“All in all, the LA-MCA 2019 meeting brought together leaders from across the country and around the world with a shared vision and dedication to providing the best in aesthetic education,” said Dr. Karimi Course Chairman and co-creator of LA-MCA. “I was proud that we were able to execute this four day program with multiple workshops, and off-site trainings from Beverly Hills down to USC School of Medicine with flawless precision.”

Other noted and well-received presentations were Facetite plus Morpheus 8 and Accutite from InMode, BBL Advanced Light Techniques from Sciton, Profound RF from Syneron-Candela, as well as special workshops showcasing advanced injection technique with a variety of products from Allergan, Galderma, Merz and Revanesse VERSA.
